During the 14th Ministerial conference of the World Trade Organization, the network Our World Is Not For Sale (OWINFS) drew attention to major challenges facing developing countries in the ongoing ministerial negotiation’s. During a press briefing, five representatives of the NGO shared their views on several key issues under discussion
Their interventions focused on the current state of negotiations, likely outcomes, and the possible implications for developing economies, particularly regarding rules, policy space, and development priorities.
The speakers stressed the need for fairer outcomes that better reflect the realities and interests of developing countries within the multilateral trading system.
